2018 brings the subtle violet, blackberry, toasted nuts, spices and liquorice that seems to be the common trait for this wine. Medium bodied with full of freshly crushed blackberry and boysenberry, bitter dark chocolate, smooth tannin, and a dried herb. The natural acid from the grapes is just right and balanced with the alcohol and tannins. Handpicked when the fruit was fully ripe to ensure great flavour but no sense of any notion of dead fruit. Basket pressed. Alco 14.1% by vol. Only 4600 bottles made.
