The 2022 vintage is regarded as a classic vintage in NSW. With good soil moisture, the vines were in healthy condition and had plenty of foliage. A cooler and drier than average January after excellent December rainfall combined to deliver ideal ripening conditions, with grapes showing flavours of great freshness and intensity. Good vineyard management and winemaking has resulted in wines with great intensity of flavours.
A soft yet powerful palate with intense flavours of red currants and black berries. Fine tannins give the wine structure and complexity.
