This is simply the best White Burgundy we have come across, there is serious value for money here!
As always, the wine is crafted only from free-run juice, fermented and then matured on its fine lees (for four months with no bâtonnage) in horizontal stainless steel tanks--designed to maximise interaction between the wine and its lees.
This is a superbly fresh and energetic Mâcon. It's mid weighted and balanced, with yellow peach, orange peel, jasmine, flint & struck match underscored by fresh mouth-watering acidity, and a crisp, spicy finish. Chardonnay.
