This Tripel version of the Augustijn Blonde has more complex taste qualities and contains more degrees of alcohol than her Blonde sister. It has an amber and cloudy head topped with a consistent foam head that slowly falls along the walls. The aroma of the beer is very sweet with hints of spices, citrus and yeast.
The taste is soft at the beginning and marries a mixture of spices evoking coriander. In the middle, the alcohol starts to tingle your tongue a reminder that it is actually beer you are drinking. The spicy aspect is then replaced by a hoppy bitterness.
